Sad to read Chuck's nice posts. He was very helpful to RLers.
Don't mean to hijack this thread but Amen! Chuck was the epitome of a 993 fanatic. Hopefully, there are some others who remember him. Incredibly, his wife died less than a year after. If anyone knows the whereabouts of their two sons, I;d really like to contact them. As I recall, a member purchased his beautiful car. If so, are you still with us?

I am from HK, and you guys can easily tell that I am not a regular on this forum (a total of 9 posts all these years?)...with you guys' mentioning about Chuck, I couldn't help but searched back and read some posts about him, especially ones from this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...k-sertich.html
A great guy, and he was highly respected and loved by the community. He's definitely lived a life!
May I wish Chuck's family all the best. And hope Chuck is living happily with his 993 in heaven. I am sure he's installed his customised gear **** in his 993 there!
Don’t compare lengths. A spring that is decades old will surely settle.
Hi, Ed, I am sure you are right.
After installing the new rear Lilac springs, I noticed there's an increase in ride height by 2cm, from 64cm to 66cm. Let's see if they will get settled a bit over time.
I hope the difference in height now is not due to Lilac vs White.
