Default Camber Plate recommendations

Well, its time to move to camber plates, outside tire wear is getting to be too much, and I am at the limit of neg. camber with the stock set-up.

Recommendations?

Dave,
I recently installed ERP plates that I bought at Automotion with a 20% off offer. Haven't driven on them yet except to take the car in to the shop for a corner balance and align. Hoping to get it back today. But they seemed like quality, well built units. The guys at the shop I go to said that ERP is good stuff.

Smart Racing has 2 options
ERP
Mode
I went w/ Mode

Just because they were A little more expensive and I'd seen them installed before on other's cars

How much camber are you running now, and how much will you do in the future? I'm running 2.2 degrees front and 2.5 degrees rear with no camber plates, and the car handles awesome on the track...

TRG camber plates look just like those in Bill's pics, except that TRG are finished in blue.

I replaced the 3 bolts to high-strength steel however, since they come with ss and I stretched one by over-torquing.

I think you can get JIC camber plates on their own. But the ones Bill mentions is what I would go with - Mode for sure.

Bill, what strut brace do you have.

+1 on the ERP, I raced on them. The bolting needs indeed to be replaced (I never understand why they deliver some good stuff like that with such cheap steel bolting).
My understanding is that you have basically two designs: 3 and 4 bolts.
3 is what had been developed by Porsche and copied by most third party suppliers. Some thought it would be good to put 4 bolts, so they did.
Honestly, the longitudinal constraint at braking is not so important (the lower bushing takes everything) but the lateral stress is huge when the car takes more than 1G in the corner, so I don't believe the forth bolt bring anything useful.
It's more important to reinforce the car's hat holding the plate I believe.

Good luck

BTW I have a question:
Some put the lonely bolt on the front, some on the rear (like Bill on the pic, and it's the case on my car).

What do specs say ? Is there a notice when you buy them ?

thanks!

JMHO,....ERP & Mode are both top quality using high-end spherical bearings and those are the only ones we will use and sell.

MODE! I've had their plates in two of my cars and I have never seen a nicer Porsche plate
