SECOND, MODERN PORSCHES :
** Please note I think after walking around the porsche 993 section at Laguna Seca is when I went into sensory overload... and then I just shut down... but I must have hovered around every one of the cars for at lease 5 minutes... and hovered around the yellow RS for 20 minutes.... so I didnt really take any pictures **
Note: the silver 993 was tucked away in the corner !.....what is this world coming to?
PS: is the color of the blue 993 'ocean blue'?

FOURTH: WTF REPLICA PORSCHES:/ OTHER CARS
Widebody replica 356 speedster.... kind of cool in a dune buggy kind of way... but I would be lying if I said I didnt initially really like it... but now have second thoughts. The other, red spyder is gorgeous... but then I realized it is a replica as well... oh well...
I added the AC Cobras here.... either that is $7.5 million worth of steel... or $175,000 worth of fiberglass... not sure...so it gets added to the "replica" section.
ps: other car is a Mossler - (wild)

FIFTH, ITALIAN LAMBORGHINIS :
The Reventon is an absolute monstrosity in my opinion...and I honsetly have no value in it... however, the details are absolutely amazing.
As you can tell from these pictures... I am not a big Gallardo or Murcielago fan... but those Diablos .... !
Last couple of pics are of Valentino Balboni (head Lamborghini test driver), who I've met a couple of times since I was 16.. and shared some stories with that day... so it was a real treat for me. (I'm the guy grinning in the picture)

SIXTH: OTHER ITALIAN MARQUES:
Gorgeous Maserati Bora, and some Panteras.... interestingly, the original designer of the Pantera was there (see picture) - actually I have seen him a number of times at car events...he's a die hard enthusiast. Anyway... the orange Pantera was "redesigned" by him in california recently...b/c he felt he didnt finish the design properly (!)
The new Alfa Romeo is an impressive GT/track car..... at first when you look at the car... it looks great... but not so much the second or third pass (compare that with our 993s...)

SEVENTH: OH YEAH...FERRARI:
How did I leave this one last? Concourso Italiano had an event with the largest ever gathering of Ferrari 288GT's !!! Holy Crap there were approx 40 of them !.... now here is the thing about this..... When you go to a car show.. and maybe one 288GTO shows up it blows your mind...and the whole event stops... when there are 40 of them.... they are the most common car at the event !! and then... it is really not impressive at all !
ps: Ferrari F355 Superamerica - has a carbon fiber targa roof that flips backawards and was only sold to devoted ferrari owners handpicked by the factory !
ps: The F430 cabriolet is actually a Scuderia (racing) caonvertible made to celebrate the manufacturers title. The fact that one is even on american soil is rare as ****. The fact that it is parked in a dirt parking lot is unforgivable !

EIGHTH, BMW and AUDI MARQUES:
The 2 cars on either end of the M1 in the first picture are Alpinas....these are the BMW equivalent of RUF... however, one difference is BMW actually depends on Alpina for R&D. The rarest of those 2 is actually mine mine mine.
Alpina B12 5.7 coupe: Only 57 made, only 1 in the U.S., McLaren F1 base engine in the car, all-wheel steering, top speed of 193 (I confirmed that a number of times), and one of the first production cars in the world to have a carbon fiber hood.
ps... and then there are some more rear end pictures... DONT WORRY, I already made an appointment with my therapist.....
