Car was purchased in Texas (Momentum Porsche) 9 years ago and the owner was too lazy to remove the front plate. Go figure. We (in KY) only require a rear plate. Been a KY car for 9 years.

Just an observation.

My parents have lived in Texas for 15 years now (Hill Country). They actually crease their jeans like we do dress pants. I just hang my head in shame.

Looks like a beautiful car. Great color, too. If the various electrical doohickeys under the seats are replaced, I don't see how the water exposure should be any kind of problem. It's not like it sat waterlogged for weeks, or was exposed to salt water, or has mold growing under the carpets. That car is a great opportunity to get into a widebody for a discount.

I'm in the camp that says this car is a great deal and worth the risk at that price. BTW, it was probably that same line of storms that flooded my parking lot at work recently. It trashed a couple of cars there. Luckily, I had ridden with someone else that day for the first time in a couple months!

Hi, I guess I'd like to join the long queue of those who might be interested in this car. I'm in Europe and although I'm looking for a Cab, I could well be tempted, if it is clean. Could I ask you to also include me in on details as you move forward and let me know what might need to be done to get the car perfect. Thanks

I just returned from a week long vacation and no news as of yet. I am going to start pushing for an answer though. I did talk to the shop and the car is still there and they are waiting for the parts to come in and be installed (as of Thursday last week). Believe me as soon as I know what is going on everyone that PM'd me will also. The decision is in the owner's hand right now. They may keep the car, counter offer for more money or sell it. IMHO once the car is done we should know something.

After some sleuthing, I think that I have found the car. Not sure why the OP has not been willing to respond to those of us (including me) who have asked for an update, but this sure looks like it.
Thoughts? Interesting---the dealer doesn't mention the work in his listing. I have emailed him for 'additional info'.
