Wow Matt... Glad to hear you're OK. It's just a car, they're always replacable.

Cool. Were the Ferraris the 250 GTO's?

Matt,

It sounds like your going to go with another 993.... I just sold my 993 a month ago, it was pretty modified- suspension, transmission regear, cup car lsd ect.. ect.... to finish up my early torsion bar build.

You should really consider a early torsion bar car with a 3.6L conversion... in my opinion they are even more exiting than a 993. I had more fun driving my 73 911 with a 190hp then I ever did in my 993.... I cant wait to have the vram motor running in my 72.

good luck with whatever you decide.

Sorry to hear that. I've wrecked mine about 3 times but never enough to total it. The latest tire wall adventure was at the VIR Club Race this summer. Left fender, door, quarter, rear bumper, tailpipe and decklid/wing. Nothing real bad just enough to pi$$ me off. Did I mention it was on the 4th lap after a complete respray (which included new some new parts not so new now)? I feel your pain.

I'll be interested in your parts list.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune, but sadly it seems to be par for the course. I too just finished rebuilding mine. Sounds like you are moving on to greener pastures though, good for you.. Great attitude.

Wow

guess I'm way late to this very unfortunate incident!

Matt, man sorry to hear, glad you okay though

the burning question I'm sure everyone's interested in is.....................did my pipes survive

kidding...........of course I 'm not one circling for parts (not for a 993 anyway, but if you know of good 914 parts ), just wanted to say I feel for ya.
