Go out Montrose, pass the 270 exit, and turn LEFT onto FALLS Rd.
Go 1 mile and turn RIGHT onto GLEN Rd.
Stay on Glen Road, past Glen Mill Rd., past Travilah.
Glen Rd ends, and you bear LEFT onto QUERY MILL Rd.
QUERY MILL Rd ends and you turn RIGHT onto Esworthy.
Esworthy ends and you turn LEFT onto SENECA.
SENECA becomes RIVER Rd. Stay Right to remain on RIVER Rd.

After 6.5 miles turn RIGHT onto WEST WILLARD Rd.
Go 4 miles up West Willard, turn LEFT onto WESTERLY Rd.
Go 1.5 miles, turn RIGHT on EDWARDS FERRY Rd.
Cross 107, it becomes WASCHE Rd.
Wasche Rd. Ends, turn RIGHT on MARTINSBURG Rd.
Martinsburg Rd joins up with Route 28. Turn LEFT onto 28.
In 1 mile, at RR crossing RIGHT onto DICKERSON SCHOOL Rd.
Dickerson School Rd becomes Mt. Ephraim Rd.
Soon, turn RIGHT onto BARNESVILLE Rd.
Barnesville Rd. becomes CLOPPER Rd. / MD-117.
Clopper hits 270. Take 270 South to Route 28 to Hard Times.

Sounds like a fun loop; any speed cameras to be aware of?

Tony,

Not sure about speed cameras... I haven't driven it yet. I'll report back if I see any when I do the "drive" soon. It seems that we're not going to please all the people here, 2 in particular, but from the response on this post plus the emails I've received, it looks like the best dates as a consensus would be 9/13 with 9/20 as a back up rain date. Sorry for the gent or gents that could only do it the 8/30 date. So basically, if it's raining pretty badly on the 13th (a few light sprinkles in the forecast probably won't count as a postponement situation) we'll instead do it the rain date of 9/21. If it rains really badly that Saturday as well, we'll go from there with another date soon after that. This WILL happen this fall! I'll start a new post soon and put in all the pertinent details.

kool thing - I drove the pcar into work today for the first time in months. All was going good on 270 until a 996 blue convert turbo S flew by me and left me like I was in park. The brakes on that thing were humonguos, huge seriously huge.

It's too bad that you didn't have the same huge breaks, otherwise you would've kept up with him right Tony?

nah...lol..the brakes is the image that stuck in my mind. When he flew by me, all I could remember seeing was them big *ss wheels (probably 20's) and the huge yellow calipers. That car makes a 993 look like a mini...really...

Just bustin your chops Tony... we all could use a bit more power that's for sure! I rather like the diminutive size of our cars compared to the new ones... It looks and feels tighter and lighter.

Sounds good... Might be worth taking the trapster app on the iphone through the route looking for speed traps. I'll see if I have the time to run it once. Or if someone has the Passport 4500i, it might be even better.

Hi Tony. "Slow" in a Porsche is a relative term I guess.

I guess it's time to close this thread as the new thread has the updated info in it.

See you soon!
