Default Side Skirt Gap Fixed!

I had a gap between the body and the side skirt just in front of the rear wheels. This was because of the thin metal hanger being a bit bent. Andreas can attest. I think I have found a way to permanently fix this.

(more to follow soon)

I used bolts through the rear fender.

Half wishing that I had painted them though.

They look better unpainted (black). Just my thought for the day.

I'm VERY interested in your solution, but I don't understand your fix even slightly. Can you elaborate?

I went to school with a "funder." He paid for all of my beers in college. Heck of a guy- I think '"funder" is more polite than "trustafarian." LOL

What you do, see, is get some funder washers (which is a polite way to say fluffer) and you bolt that thing in there.

I clearly don't understand your sense of humor because this entire threat makes no sense whatsoever.

How I interpret the thread: Bob's original rocker covers were less than satisfactory. So he purchased a set of RS skirts and affixed them using screws, etc. Thereby eliminating the unsightly gaps caused by the ill-fitting original rocker covers.

Ah I see now I did notice the RS rockers but I think I've been a bit slow this week and wasn't making the connection to the solution.

No threat intended. Don't you have RS skirts?

How is the recovery on the engine coming?

Bob
