They're also better and cheaper than the factory mounts.

Can you explain what makes them better?

Thank you.

Wevo's specialty is doing things better than the factory, although almost always more expensively. This case is an exception. The Wevo design is more modern and use a urethane vibration dampener rather than the factory rubber. And when you wear out the factory part, you have to buy new mounts. With the Wevo's all you have to do is buy a couple of new urethane dampeners, which IIRC is twenty bucks. And you have two variants of stiffness to choose from in the form of blue or black pillows. I have the WEVO mounts as well and like them. The fit and finish and function is excellent.

The only issue I have is that I have a minor rattle in the rear shelf of my car that is now magnified by the WEVO mounts when engaging the clutch. Since I daily drive my car, it kind of sucks. The upside is that the mounts result in a very slight change in engine growl heard in the car that is really nice. The factory mounts were too quiet.

Bob -

I might consider a trade if you are thinking that WEVO would suit you better.

If you ate off that motor, you'd have that Aerospace 303 stuff as a condiment.

303 is frequently mentioned in AMA journals for its colon-cleansing properties.

Before unloading in favor of Wevos, do your research; there were a couple threads comparing the two. IIRC the Wevos may be stiffer, which isn't necessarily better. And the blue and black pillows aren't much different.
