Default Why people buy Lexuses...

... to act as "bodyguards" for Porsches, obviously!

My co-worker sent me this picture out our back window, and asked me if I had hired those two Lexus SUVs as "protection." (Well, this *is* NJ after all...)

Enjoy!

I love the compact dimensions of our cars.

I don't drive my P-Car to work but I would if I could get responsible people to park next to me like that!

Psychological studies show that employees who back into parking spaces do so because they are doing it on Company time. In other words, in no hurry to get to work. Then when they are ready to leave at the end of they day, they want a fast exit, because now they are on their "own time".

Nice car.

Nice car.
porsche owners on the other hand know that the clearance on the rear allows for a "deeper" park

Nice wide parking spots you have at your office - wish we were so lucky.

And if it's a Tip, backing in prevents (slows down?) some crook's attempt to tow it away.

LOL, the wifey's car is just that, an RX350. Not a very exciting car (actually I hate it) but after taking a serious road trip in it with all the kids stuff fitting in, it was actually a pretty comfy car to drive and I might be changing my mind a bit.

Lexus service is tops though. I'm here in the SF Bay Area, and it amazes me how many of these Lexus's are around (good for resale value, I guess).

That's funny, I was just trying to keep the expensive end further away from asshats (not that my coworkers are necessarily asshats).

I think that's an overplayed stereotype that all NJians are identified simply by their proximity to one of the many highways crossing our state and I am highly offended by this over-simplistic suggestion. Oh, and the answer is, "7A".

Amazing how small our cars look next to just about anything else on the road these days.

Then make those 2 Lexus 8. 8 would be a nice number for ensuring my security on Venezuelan roads. I'm female, i need protection more than you

Hi Dave, please accept my apologies. I need to tell a pretty funny story about this.

I was on a chairlift in China Bowl on Vail mtn last winter when I herd a guy talking sitting next to me. I new immediately he was from NJ. I said to him...your not from around here, he said no. He said he was from NJ. Me being the SA that I am said "what exit"...he kind of got all worked up and said so where are you from? I said NY. He said so do you know how NYers say the alphabet? I said no. He said

Fu$kin A
Fu$kin B
Fu$kin C

I had no comeback

I parked between two of these Lexi yesterday and almost took a picture to add to this thread. Also spotted a white 993 close to there. And two 997, one of which gave a big wave.
