Default De-Badge-ing your Pcar

Just curious, for those who don't have a reason to show their PCar model eg C2S, C4S etc, would you take of the engine lid badge? I am thinking to remove the "carrera" badge for a cleaner look...any toughts?

I took mine off and I love it. I am not on my computer so I do not have pic.

I had to do some color sanding to get the shadow out (my car is white) but I love the clean look.

I will add a pic when I get back to my laptop

I need my "stinking badges". Part of the reason that I bought my car, I was transfixed by the C4S badge. It looked really cool to me. I had to have a C4S. It makes me happy when I notice it.

If you prefer to be badge free, so be it. I'm more of a "keep it close to original, especially when it comes to badges" guy, but to each his own.

My Carrera badge is starting to break up so I'm thinking of the badge delete too. I tried to source a 911 or 993 badge but couldn't find any.

I de-badged my previous cars, but stopped when I got the 993.

Mine never had the "rear badge", and I dig the clean smooth butt.

I de-badged in the rear, but I still have a silver crest on the hood. It's a good compromise.

Ah, badge, basket handle, bumperettes... You don't need that stuff!

When I first got the C4 it had the "badge delete", even has the option code for it

Then I added this badge, I really dig it. Some non Porsche people have asked if it's some special modle

Brings to mind my similar situation here.

Last weekend, my badge met up with the Porter Cable polishing pad and got wounded in the battle. The end of the "a" broke off........ As a result, I'm tracking this thread closely to decide on which way to go. Go delete or buy a new one.....

I de-badged a few weeks ago, as I was tired of cleaning around it.

Figured if I didn't like the look I'd put it back on. Think I'll wait a few weeks before I decide.

Since you need to remove it anyway when you get your replacement, might as well take it off now and see what you think. Give it some time for the new look to sink in.

So far I'm OK with mine off, and think I'll leave it that way.
