Porsches 2 Oxford Event
This event was last weekend in Oxford, OH. In all a total of 409 Porsche's attended the event, and it was a very rainy Saturday. The weather ended up clearing around 4pm for the awards ceremony. it was a great time, and had a bunch of great people there. Got to meet Roche and his father while we were at the event as well. Enjoy the pics....

Five pics from the bottom, you can see the back end of my 993 parked next to that 996 Cab, I figured I have plenty of pics of my car that I would leave it out this time.
I only got up close to the car once and I don't think it was the real deal - though I could be wrong. The owner wasn't there, so I wasn't able to ask questions. Maybe Roche or someone else could chime in on this one.

i'm 99% that car is the real deal. the guy that owns it is a collector and he brought a real 904 (or 906, can't remember) last year to the show.
soap-your pics are way better than mine. thanks for posting.

The owner is in our MORPCA club (central Ohio) and the "HEAT" car was theirs too (ran in LeMans). The owner has one very nice collection of P-cars. If I have the facts straight, I seem to recall it is a ground up build to spec RSR in mint condition and true in every detail. With as many original parts they could find and some built to reproduction specs. I seem to recall there is a book published on the car / build. A true labor of passion.

Yes it is the real deal. His 911 Cup Car parked next to it was the real deal too -- ran at the 24hr Le Mans. Good guy. He painted the P2O logo on the roof of his cup car:
Heres Ron the owner with the P2O shirt on standing behind it...
Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the event. With good weather we would have had 525 cars, annihilating the previous record. Still, we did set a record and given the terrible weather, it was a great testament to all of you.
Chris, P2O
