Well, upon further review.... major sniff testing, It's more like SOLVENT...
The only thing I can think of, logically, is when the tank the tank was being cleaned out from the first blown motor, the tank or lines were not purged properly. it's the ONLY thing I can come up with.

What was the root cause for the first oil pump failure and what were the corrective actions? I have not worked on Porsches, but I would think that a broken housing is rare.
Do you plan on getting an analysis done on the oil? I would say now you might have two reasons to flush your complete oil system, 1) possible metals and 2) definite solvent/gasoline. The oil analysis will help you determine what you need to do.
