Default iPod Cable Installation

Anyone have any pictures of their iPod cable installtion? I was thinking of it through the center console and up through the tray past the e-brake?

Suggestions?

BTW, I have a CDR-220 with the needed cable in the Aux on the back of the unit.

Right now mine just runs out the side of the console past the little access panel and lays on the passenger floor. It's not ideal. I could just leave the ipod in the access compartment if it was to be left there permanently. I thought about running it into the glove box but I would have to cut a hole.

A lot of people including myself have run it into the glove compartment. Sorry don't have pics but its a safe place to put it especially since its being controlled thru the head unit anyways.

You only need a small hole, if you pull out the lens for the glovebox light. Notch out a side, pull the cable through the hole where the lens is, push the cable into the notch, then reinstall the lens.

Glovebox with notch in side of light cut-out. Very easy and convenient.

Wasn't there a post where there was an aftermarket cable that attached to CD-220 using the 6 disk cd-changer.
