I didn't notice the drone some have referred to but i still had the catalytic in place.

I think the first gen with the baffles and the packing material would be quieter than the current one with the fixed baffles. I have not done a side-by-side, though.

I'm guessing you've never heard Supercups in person. Plus they're really lightweight, at 6 lbs each.

Yes they can drone but they're a good solution for some people.

Ok, then we're in agreement. I've only heard old-gen a couple times though.

And a technical correction-- these "old-gen" supercups are actually called 2nd Gen and the current are 3rd Gen. Their 1st Gen were little stubbies that did a short U-turn. Probably obsoleted since there was no room for any baffling. I've only seen those once.

I'm interested in your supercups. Are they still available? As a former Ferrari owner my new to me 993C4S is just too quiet, even with the MSP. I miss waking up the neighbors.

Are you talking about the original, factory Supercups?
