Default Power wndow help

Did a stupid thing while I was re-installing my RS door panels.

A wire from the window swith came out of the socket so a took my pliers and tried to reach it. WHile doing this I touched the metal of the car with the wire and I had a sparkle (don't know how to say this in english).

So now both of the windows don't go up or down

What could this be? A fuse?

Thanks in advance!

Open your front hood on the right side under the windshield area is the fuse box open it and under the cover it a picture with the a listing of all the fuse and what system they support. Their maybe a spare in the box along with a fuse pulling tool.

You shorted the window switch power to ground, which created a "spark", then blew the fuse.

I'm about to replace the drivers side switch for the passenger side window (I think they're about $50). I wish mine was just a fuse!

Check online for the switch. I bought mine for $14 I think. Pretty sure they are not OEM but I found fit and finish to be the same. I bought two just in case!

Hey "VNTGSPD", that sounds much better

>>>EDIT: Ok, I found it for $13.95 at "automotion.com" (aftermarket). Is it holding up, feel robust as if it will, etc.? Thanks!

Do you remember where online you found it, and does it look exactly like the OEM switch?
My interior is in pretty much perfect condition (except for a slightly discolored shifter), and I'd like the switch to look just right
