Default Freshly Painted Calipers from my 993 With Pictures

Here they are Fellow Rennlisters! What do you think?
Not sure if im keeping them because I had a change of heart on my wheels that im buying for me car so I dont really think red calipers would look all that great. This is my extra set not the calipers off my car.

G2 Paint system used.

Those look pretty darn good! Does the paint just bush on? Is there much prep work involved?

Yep just brushes on.
The more time you spend prepping the better they will come out.
I got a drill with a wire brush and went to town on the calipers because they had alot of built up brake dust.
The wire brush doesent take off the clear coat or anything just scratches it finely and the paint will stick better that way anyway.

The beauty in paint relies on the prep work imho. Looks like you did a nice job getting these ready to paint. They look great

They do have some runs on the bottom. but on the faces where they will be seen im really happy with the job too.

It took me probably 8 hours to do them from start to finish.

Those look great! I have had good luck with the G2 stuff on other cars in the past, but those look nearly perfect.

Let me know if you decide not to use them, I might wanna buy them.

I did this 4 years ago and it still looks great. Under $50 at the time with the decals.
