Gauging Interests: BBS RS-GT, DACH Sport Cat, 3 spke steering, Spoiler, V1.......
Hi all:
I'm going "All In" with my startup and quitting my day job in July. The feeling of not having a regular paycheck and now having to issue paycheck is starting to sink in.
As you know, I've flirted with putting my car on classifieds here a couple of times. There were interests but I think because of all the upgrades I have, the car is above the price that most people would pay. Even though it is the nicest sample I can find with recent Top End Rebuilt and tons of work done right by a professional (Jeff Gamroth) up in Rennsport.
Anyhow, I am trying one final time to sell the car as is here ==> http://forums.rennlist.com/marketpla...uct/324/cat/67
In the meanwhile, I want to gauge interests of selling the upgrades separately and returning the car to stock rear lids, stock wheels, etc.
The items that I think might be of value are. Please PM me if you are interested.
- BBS RS-GT (widebody)
- DACH Sport Cats (<8K miles)
- 3 spoke steering wheel from 996
- Fiber glass turbo spoiler (http://www.paulto.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=3)
- V1 radar detector
I don't know how easy it is the swap out the following items. Please PM me if you are interested. You are local to me. And you can help me swap it out right OE parts.
- RennSport (Steve Weiner) ECU programming (this is a 97 C4S)
- Euro Gears
I think I am going to leave the following alone since the suspension is setup perfectly by Jeff Gamroth and I don't want to ruin it. And these are too hard to swap out anyway. Right?
- RS struts & sways
- LFW, RS Clutch
- PSS9
(All < 15K miles)

Here is the info on my V1 from their web site. It comes with the remote display, and most accessories still in wrap in the original retail box.
The web site also says it cost $139 to upgrade to Euro POP if needed.
Serial Number 3679290681
V1 Description: Radar circuitry known in-house as V1.8. This is our latest and best performer on both radar and laser with just one exception—it lacks POP Protection. Of interest to those who drive in Europe, the latest V1 version also has a Euro Mode.
Upgrade Recommendation: You have a sophisticated security system, and we’re cautious about recommending an Upgrade. If you believe in keeping up with technology, particularly if the POP Mode is being used in your area, then go ahead. V1’s approach to the POP problem is superior to all others in the industry. If you drive in Europe, you will appreciate our new Euro Mode which improves protection on photo radar as it is used in the E.U.

I am off to Seattle for a conference next week. If I have no taker for the car as-is, I am going to start taking the upgrades out when I come back the week after. And I will contact you guys in the order of your messages as appeared in my Inbox.
