Do you sell just the footrest? I've already got a set of rennline pedals but sold the dead-pedal/footrest as it took up too much space. I like the looks of the one on your website for our cars as it does NOT seem to have the side portion. Does your machining/ metal (in grid) match the color/ pattern of the rennline goods?

I can sell the footrest seperately. I have not seen the Rennline pedals in person (I just checked out their website). I don't think ours will match their pedals very good.

I received my order a few days ago, and installed last night.

Parts look as nice as the pictures, and install was straight forward. I was glad to see spacers in the install kit, since the dead pedal needs them for proper support. I suppose you could also use them to raise the gas pedal, but I've never had a problem with heel/toe so leaving the gas pedal at the current height worked for me.

I will have to get some slightly longer screws to install the dead pedal more securely though. I will take the panel off first so I know what's behind it before I drill.

One thing I took advantage of during the install was to space the brake and clutch further apart. Every once in awhile while going for the clutch my foot would catch part of the brake (I have wide feet, so it's bound to happen occasionally). Hopefully I never do that again thanks to the increased spacing.

And that grid design is STICKY. I can't imagine a foot slipping on those things.

I got the grid with the trim rings for the brake and clutch, and the flat surface with trim ring for the gas and footrest.

Ordering was a bit confusing, since you have to select the grid design and then order the trim ring as a no-cost option. It's a two-step ordering process.

Luckily Brian at SRP Racing sent me an e-mail checking on my order, making sure of what I wanted. I did place the order correctly, but was happy for the confirmation prior to them getting started.

I bought the "double heel-toe" gas pedal a couple weeks ago. Great communication and fast service and I love the pedal.

Thanks Brian!

Rob - good to know that you like the double heel-toe. Mine are on the way to the house. Could you post some pics?

Thanks

I'm out of town right now, but I'll try to post some pics in the next few days. I don't think you'll be disappointed

I bought and installed a set of Brian's grid brake/ clutch and smooth gas pedals recently and I am very happy. Install was much easier than I imagined, although I did replace his 1/2" screws with 5/8" because I felt the shorter ones weren't engaging the nylon inserts. There's probably a good chance I was just over-engineering a non-existent problem, which would be typical for me.

The grid pedals are incredibly grippy - way more than I was expecting. I used to have problems with some shoes slipping around on the brake when heel and toeing, but no longer. I didn't get the double heel toe gas pedal, just the standard and it's fine. I cheated the gas pedal over to the left a bit and cheated the brake to the right and they are almost too close. But I have big feet.

I also wanted to give props to Brian. Workmanship is first rate as is his responsiveness to questions. He sent me pdfs of the gas pedal to check out on my car and emailed me before production to make sure I got what I wanted. With the Rennlist discount, one of the better $100 mods to my car.

Greg H.
