SRP Pedals - Updated Product Options 993

Hello,
I have added some options to the product line and felt it warranted a new thread. If you haven’t seen our other threads, my company is SRP Racing. We are an official Rennlist sponsor. We have been making racing pedals since 1995. This is what we specialize in. www.srpracing.com

As a reminder, I am going to keep running the Rennlist discount coupon code for Rennlist members. Just enter: rennlist while checking out for 20% off.
------------------------------------
I get this question all the time, “How come, on the Grid sets, the gas pedal and footrest don’t have the Grid machining on it?” Ideally you want your foot to slide across the gas pedal smoothly while applying the throttle. This is the reason the factory gas pedal is smooth, hard plastic. And this is the reason we make our gas pedal smooth. With the gas pedal smooth we decided to make the footrest and gas pedal match as it just seemed to look better that way.

With all of that being said, I have updated the website to allow ordering the Grid pedals with the Grid machining on the gas and footrest. This adds a considerable amount of time to the machining process, but I have decided to offer it as a NO-CHARGE option (this may change in the future).

------------------------------------
I have updated our Grid pedals with a trim ring around the edge of the pedals. This gives the pedals a more refined look. The pictures below should make it clear what this option looks like. This is a NO-CHARGE option.

How about a passenger side foot-rest?

Any chance you have something fabbed up for a footrest for Euro right hand drive cars? There is not much space down there and usually the left foot wind up resting in front of the clutch pedal or underneath it.

I've messed with passenger footrests in the past. What exactly did you have in mind?

Right now we don't have anything for the RHD 993. If you, or anyone reading this, would be willing to help with sizes and info, we could make one. Let me know if interested. I don't have access to a RHD car here:)

Just ordered a grid set with the trim ring option, you should see it in your system today.

The pics look great, can't wait to see my set in person.

Do you have the double heel and toe version for the 993, too?

I have not made one yet for the 993. Our standard gas pedal has roughly an extra 3/4" on the left side, and this has been enough for most people.

If you are serious about a double heel to gas pedal PM me. I will draw one up, scan it and email it to you. You can then print it, put it on your pedals and see how it looks. Based on your feedback we can then machine it.

I will check if the standard pedal is wide enough. Could you email me a pdf plot of the standard gas pedal. Please send me PM and I will get you my email address.

I have drawn up a double heel toe extension gas pedal for the 993, as shown above for the 996. If anyone would like to "try before you buy" I can send you a scan of our standard gas pedal and the double that you can print, cut out, and try on your car. Just send me an email that I can reply to and attach the files.
