Looks like the "Porsche Car Corral" ticket purchase is online! I'm assuming this includes admission to the race and this is the only ticket we'll need? Or is it $65 for the corral on top of the $60 race ticket?

http://tickets.limerock.com/eventperformances.asp?evt=9

I'll add this info to the original post.
Nice!!! Posted info in for Boston drive participants as well.

NICE!! Just got mine. I believe that the driver's park entry fee is included with the Corral ticket. Any passengers will need to purchase regular tickets. Can't wait!

Default BREAKING NEWS!!

Count me in, too!

This might just be the first racing venue that I will attend AS A GUEST, since I can't remember when!

I think you got that backward, Arrwin -- 'guest' status is a step above working the venue, in my book!
Warning: I might slip into paddock and hot pit tour dialogue, tho - it's only natural!

I will be riding shotgun for this event.
Whether I make the drive or not - I'll have a donation for the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.
Might try to make Lime Rock for Friday qualifying races.

Next question - where to stay. . . Thoughts?

Thanks again for coordinating this, Arrwin!

As comprehensive of a hotel listing as you'll find: http://www.limerock.com/files/pdf/2009_AreaServices.pdf

I'd look in the MA or Poughkeepsie areas.

I don't recall where we stayed with IMSA - you know, when you're not the driver . . .
I'm thinking Waterbury because they needed a big place to put everyone up... together.

Thanks for the list! (Poughkeepsie!!!?? Nah!)

I think the corral ticket is an addition $65 not included in general admission. This is how they generate additional profit for the track.

Wow. Is that right? I know it's a privilege to park next to our peers, but $65 is a bit steep don't you think?

Default FROM THE LIME ROCK WEBSITE. . .

Car Corral Package Includes:

• General Admission Tickets
• Infield corral parking for Porsche or Corvettes only available on Friday and Saturday
• Parade laps on Saturday only for first 50 cars (each marque) to arrive

Rates:
(applies for both Porsche and Corvette)
Friday Advance – $30 Friday (race week) – $40
Saturday Advance – $65 Saturday (race week) – $75
Weekend Advance – $80 Weekend (race week) – $110

- CAR CORRAL TICKETS ARE NOT SOLD ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT
- Important: Only the driver needs to purchase a car corral ticket. Passengers can purchase a regular Saturday general admission ticket. Please have this ticket ready to show the parking attendant when you enter the park.

Tickets are available online at limerock.com or by calling the track office at 800 RACE LRP.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Question seems to be how many general admission tickets are included, if they also state passengers can purchase general admission tickets.
Left a message with staff. Track closed presently...
I do think that Fast Freddy has it sorted out with the track. He's 'in the know!'
Lime Rock Or Bust! (preferably not the wallet!)
Doc
PS: I always love these 'how many degrees does it take to figure out a ticket price' situation!
In that case I jumped the gun buy purchasing 2 general admission tickets then buying the Porsche corral ticket. That would mean if anyone needs a general admission ticket I have an extra to sell.
RSKY BIZ: Thanks for the information
