New Coco Mats installed
Well the coco mats came in today from cocmats.com I went with the black with blue accents. The pics I just took are with a flash so the mats looked a little washed out. In person they really look good and seem to be great quality. Here are the so so pics.

If you are looking for a reduction in weight these aren't it. They are very heavy and seem to be made very well. Time will tell. I wish the colors showed up better. I went with style #55. You can see all the mat colors at www.cocomats.com they are made specific to 993's and the fit is spot on. The service was great.

The latest offering from Cocomat is an extremely well made product. Years ago, you could easily go through a set of these every 18 months, but with a seriously tough rubber backing nothing can penetrate these things! They will last for many, many years. Only Sisal mats may last longer.

Hi Mike, How long did they take to arrive? I ordered mine on 5/21 and they did not arrive yet....... I order #53, which is black with gray, as my car is Artic Silver...... Looking forward.
Thanks.
Thanks.

OK that will be enough of that kind of talk
You have the same color car as I, and you ordered #55 as well. You will love them the blue specks in the mats accents our cars very well.
Just a piece of plastic sleeving that covers some wires. I had to trim the sleeve a little. When I am working in the car I always use the e-brake console as a catch all. You don't miss a thing do ya?

I bet that combination wil look great in your car. I ordered mine on 05-19-09 and they shipped on 05-29-09. It took 10 days to make them, which is exactly what www.cocomats.com told me. They delivered on 06-02-09. They ship from Fort Mill, SC and I live in Louisville, KY so that's about right on UPS Ground. I called them and they were very helpful and tracked my shipment for me. Also I had to leave a message when I called, but they do return the calls. No affiliation, but they did everything they said in the time frame they said. I just bought 2 front mats and including shipping it was $149.95. Very pleased

Why do you specify no rubber heal?
Is it for looks? I would think it protects the mat surface better, although no heal rubber may give it a better look. Just curious. I never knew they offered it that way.

I have these as well. Black with tan pindot really sets off the Cashmere/Black interior. I also have a set in my '58 that I bought from the original Cocomat company back in the 70's which look as good as the set I just put in the 993 :-)
