Hey gang,
I just got the last of the carbon fiber pieces I need to complete the OEM kit for my '97 993TT. (Man, Marcus does great work!). Anyway, it appears that the door inserts are the leather ones that are attached to them before reinstallation.
Has anyone does this before? Do you remove the leather before installation?
If the question above is yes, and I have to destroy my nice leather ones, then I'd be willing to sell (and swap) my nice black leather ones to someone else that wanted them.
The early cars have a smaller one that doesn't fit behind the door pocket, & it has a ton of little clasps on the back that you pull towards the end of the car to remove. The other style is bigger & has one large rail in the middle that you pull up to remove after loosing the door pull.
