I bought the Red CF handbrake and shifter. I figured the red might look nice and bring out the red stitching in my dash and console and also tie into the red seat belts. If I don't like it I can always surflex them to black. Now that I have two CF shifters, PM me if you are interested in acquiring one.

My experience has only been with Marcus, and I can tell you that what our new friend from MA points out does hold some truths.

1) Marcus does speak little English
2) Shipping was NOT quick (nor very trackable)
3) The Euro is not all that forgiving

BUT

1) We managed fine (used pictures and small common words)
2) I didn't need it in a hurry, but the no tracking blows once it's stateside
3) Exchange rates are more favorable than they have been...especially when I purchased in November.

AND

1) His work is fantastic
2) He packs it well, so you don't have to worry much about transit issues
3) I like dealing with people who do things on the side for some reason...maybe it makes me feel like I'm helping someone out and getting a good deal for myself. Must be the "good ol' boy" in my from growing up in SC.

Bottom line is that CF parts are like landscaping for your house. It's nice to look at and enjoy, it's expensive when done by a professional, it won't raise the value of your asset a ton, but when it comes time to sell, it can make a lot of difference in how fast it goes and how close you get to your asking price.

Welcome aboard! I have some of your previously offered items (shift **** & dash facia) in another car of mine. For the record, I was impressed with the fit and finish.


My question to you is what about the possibility of some of this stuff for older models such as pre - 90 911. (most of the 993 or 964 dash items will firt with minor mods except for the a/c vent area on either side.. pre 86 models)
I would assume a small run but would think they're are enough buyers aroound that the stuff would sell. I know a bunch of us have talked about and wished for it enough! Any thoughts on this.
