Default spoiler up position

I was wondering if there a max up position for the spoiler or ideal max position? Can it be adjusted? Ofcourse, ref. photos are always helpful

Do you mean how far up it actually travels or the speed at which it raises?

If the distance of travel, I didn't think that was variable, but perhaps I'll learn something. Related to speed, I thought it came up at like 50 and back down at 8 or something. There is a RUF module you can purchase that keeps it from raising until 75 or 80 to prevent it going up and down in town, but it's kinda pricey IIRC>

If you need me to measure mine at full extension, I can do that. Let me know.

I really want to turn this thread into something it's not...

Must show restraint.

Uh, yeah, not that there's anything wrong with that.

It's a scissor arm, so it will go up to max, then past that it will be lower. You would have to modify the mounting points, or the arms to get it up higher. Then you would need a bigger spoiler wall.

Any thread that quotes Larry is good by me! Now.... Let's gitter dun. (back to the topic for those who don't speak Redneck...)

AFAIK, the limits of the spoiler up/down are set by switches that tell the electronics to shut off the motor, not by the physical mechanism. I don't recall off the top of my head if there is some adjustment on these, but there should be....
