Default What a TOOL!!!!!

No, Andreas, this is not another Cactus thread

I just picked up a new torque wrench........100-600 ft.lb. (169-779 Nm). This thing is a monster! The wrench on top is my 1/2" drive torque wrench, for size comparison. 2WD conversion will be a piece of cake, now.

600 ftlbs, how many guys would you need to get to that? Or is there lots of leverage?

It appears to be maybe 5 feet long, so that would be 120 lb of force.

About what I use for the centerlocks on the Radical and 910.

Also, go talk to guys who are into 356's (and 912's) to see what they use on the gland nut. Or on a rotary.......did we have some fun with those flywheel nuts way back when.

Looks about right. I borrow one from my wife's company when I do axle nuts...its about 7' long and does up to 900ft-lbs.

I am jealous that I do not own one...did you have to upgrade your toolbox in order for it to fit? :-)

Cheers,

Mike

I would use a breaker bar to bust some nuts instead...

It doesn't fit in the toolbox. It does have it's own case, though.

But Darin, unless you use it to set precise torques... all is needed is a power bar... NO???
