Precise torques is what it is for. My small torque wrench does not go high enough for certain applications.

I assume you also know about torque multipliers, though a real torque wrench is definitely more accurate.

Yes, those are cool too. I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this wrench, though.

Got a similar one when I did my wheel bearings. Was used, about a month old, from a business going under. Checked the calibration before buying, think I spent $100 for a $600 torque wrench.

Got the case too, and it now sits in the garage standing up against the wall with my rakes and shovels until needed again.
