I have owned a C4S, C2S and TT. The TT is by far the most fun to drive; it literally takes your breath away . . . and your life if you are not careful. I did not care for the C4S. It felt heavy and unresponsive.

would you rather marry (i) a sweet, caring girl, or (ii) a sweet, caring girl who also happens to look like a supermodel?

The TT is a true supercar This isnt even close. The C2S is an iconic sports car. The TT is on par with a Lamborghini, a Ferrari 512BB. The TT is a like a Koenigsegg. The C2S is like a Austin Healy or a TR6 a pure driving machine that loves the curves. The TT is a asphalt devourer almost a racecar.

I only voted C2S because it's likely a lot less maintenance, lol. Consider this -- the more goodies on your car, the more it can break. Do you either have the moolah or the skill to fix it? I know I don't. I LOVE turbos, but I'm just too lazy to maintain them, and I pretty much HATE IT when anyone else touches my baby. Sigh.

Again -- choice 'b' is high maintenance and will likely cause you grief. Live long or just live in the moment, lol.

Seriously - are you REALLY asking that question?

And for those that replied non turbo - ever been in one?

As for modest and "outrageous turbo" - your kiding right? - a wing makes the car outrageous?

I can, however, do outrageous

Love that car, Simon. You are more than welcome to convert/maintain mine any time. Lol. In the mean time, I'd rather be DRIVING.

I prefer the steering feel, clutch feel, and shifter feel of the non 4wd cars. So unless it's a GT2, I'd go with my lowly 95 OBD-1 narrowbody or...... a 997GT3.

Edit: Never mind. I just realized Simon wasn't talking to me, lol.

Tell you what Simon . . . if you maintain it, I'll buy it. But you can't drive it -- that would be my job. ROFL. Sigh. I don't even want to think of how much trouble I'd get into if I had any more HP than I already have. Ha! I have the go-fast bug BAD, always have. This is exactly why I still race in the Spec Miata class -- the walls don't bite quite as hard at 100 as they might at 150.

Too many goodies on your whipper snapper, lol. Actually, I'm just predicting, as I don't actually know much about what a 97 C4S even has. I just use every opportunity to tease people. Feel free to get back at me.

Hey . . . post a pic of the 356! That was the first car I fell in-love with Porsche-wise a long time ago. Sure, I was a kid, but I started young on my love of cars.

Simon, by the way . . . that car isn't outrageous . . . that car is gorgeous.

Chosing a TT over a C2S is a no-brainer here. I owned 2 C2Ss prior to my turbo, I was very hesitant at first (having spent much time here on the NA board) but once I got behind the wheel I was hooked . I agree with others the TT is a BEAST.

Goofball: No offense but have you ever driven a TT?

I think the question is perfectly legitimate. If you, instead of a 993TT, the C2S' competitor were a 993GT2, there would be no question in my mind. However, I'm just not too crazy about the extra weight and complexity of the AWD system, although the extra power is certainly significant factor.

I did not vote in the poll.
