I live close by, and have seen this 993 on the road. It sounded like a regular 3.6L with nice headers/exhuast, but it looked like something was off about the car.
Well, who wants a Corvette powered 993! At a very reasonable bargain price. Just get your gold chains polished, and come on over!
Hey not to knock any owner, but I hope this was a Salvage/rebodied SC or older car. Let's hope someone didn't butcher a 993 to get this.
BTW, a dealer in S.Carolina has a 600HP SBC 355 chevy powered 964 Turbo body kit, but 1979 911 they have been trying to sell for almost a year at $18K with $90K worth of work done on it. Hey if they come down to $10K, I might buy it.

As far as good taste is concerned, the engine swap is the least of that car's problems.

No disrespect but I would never set foot in a 911 that has a Corvette engine in it.
I rather Walk!

(Not that I dislike corvettes, I actually like them but this is crossing the line)

That car did not start its life as a 993.

Good catch.

That means the blasphemy is somewhat lessened, although it seems sure that some poor, innocent 911 suffered.

I knew a guy who had a 350 small block in a 911. It' funny how the engine lookes tiny in the huge space meant for the F-6.
I would never consider driving in anything like that.

I bet it's a old SC.

I'm ok with the V8, but I love the "faster & handles better then a 930" Well, doesn't a stock 993 go faster & handle better then a stock 930?

Looks like the bonnet won't close. Did they install the engine in the proper end?

Wow- for $57k you could get a 993 and a used C5 Z06 and still have enough left over for a nice chain and pinky ring.
