I just love the 993 and hate to see people changing it from its OEM look. Also I really love the black ones. You asked for our input so I gave my 2 cents.

If you do change it from the factory look then I really liked the blue look with those wheels.

Silver calipers are associated with 993 C2S', while red calipers are associated with AWD 993's.

Congrats on going red. Orange and yellow are too much, IMHO.

To clarify, and correct me if I'm wrong.

1. 993C2/C2S: black calipers
2. 993C4: silver calipers
3. 993C4S/Turbo/RS: red calipers
4. 993Turbo S: yellow calipers (the brakes themselves are no different than those of the "normal" Turbo)
5. Any of the above were optional on any model 993. Option codes: XRC black calipers, XRD red calipers, XRF yellow calipers. Couldn't find the code for silver calipers.
