Replace Rotor and pads
Hi Guys,
Sorry being a little lazy. Is there a step by step guide to replacing rotors and pads on a 993/ 964 ?
Also do I need to bleed the pistons once done ?
Cheers
Sunil

There is no need to bleed the brakes after fitting new pads/discs, however change brake fluid every 2 to 3 years.

Different kind of squeek. This is an annoying, lower-pitched sound, at least on mine. Only under certain brake pressure and I can make it stop for a few days by washing the calipers/pads

If you have a brake squeal, before you go tearing into your brakes, take your car out on a deserted road and do about 4 or 5 hard stops from 60-70 MPH...Make the ABS kick in if you can...You'd be surprised how much a series of hard stops will do for cleaning your rotors and pads and stopping the squeals.
