Default H&R 7mm spacer question

Hi All,

Did a search and read most of the treads but couldn't find the answer to my question. Specifically, can anyone tell me if the H&R 7mm spacers have hub lips on them or are they pretty much like a flat disc?

I was told the guys at Wheel Enhancement that any H&R spacer less than 14mm will not have a hub lip. Since I have seen from my search that Porsche, Ruf among some others do make spacers thinner than 14mm that look to have a lip, I just wanted to ask folks here experienced with the H&R spacers.

Thanks.

Chuck

They are flat with no hub lips.

Thanks for the reply. So besides paying Porsche or Ruf $100 per disc, do I have any other options?

What's the problem with no hub lip? I use a set of H&R 7mm spacers all the time and they seem to work fine.

With the 7mm there is a "little" bit of the hub ring sticking out for the center of the wheel to sit on . While its only a little it must still be enough since you don't get any vibration. I've run hubcentric wheels without the hub before and they would vibrate sometimes. Not something I would do again

I don't know if there is a hub ring on the front - but hub-centric spacers are not necessary on the rear with a 7mm H&R spacer. The little bit of hub ring centers the spacer. The lug nuts center the wheels.
