Thanks for the compliment.
The silver accents are added after the fact after lots of thinking and some photoshop try outs.
Added 2 extra pictures.

Well the results speak for themselves, that's one of the nicest 993's I've seen. from other threads I've read it seems Vesuvius was more common in Europe than in North America. I know they exist on this side of the pond, but its rare to see them. Definitely one of my favorite 993 colours...and I think yours represents this shade better than I've ever seen. Really like the subtle accents of the silver in some places...is that factory? or something you've done after the fact.
Would love to see more pics if you have them. Well done on a beautiful car!

Here's mine after a bath. The lighting in this shot gives you an idea of the variety of colours you get with Vesuvio Metallic (that's the name according to the touch up stick, code 911 095 933 20 40W).

On the color, looks like it goes by both names... here is a scan of the brochure I got when I bought the car.

Absolutely.
Asking price was way higher than a regular C2S... and even if I do love that color for the memories it brings, I can't see myself spending the premium to get one...
Every time I come across one on the net I save all the photos in a folder dreaming of someday owning another one...

A few more photos
For Tim and Jaime. These are from the Women's Driver Training Day at Mosport that my wife attended last fall. It was my birthday gift to her and she had a blast.
BTW Jaime, that is very cool that you still have the brochure. I am envious.
