CHICO'S Summer '09 catalog...p.11. Doesn't say where the location was shot but, from the scenery, it looks like the California coast around Carmel or Monterey. If it's a RENNLISTer's car, 'fess up!

 

I saw that! I was trying to explain something to my GF and picked up that catalog. Viola! 993 city! I thought it was kinda cool.

Big Sur, Highway 1. Dang, woman, get the #!@* off that windshield frame! Probably got her feet on the seat, too! GEEEEEZZZ!

 

Good eye never saw that on pg. 2. On Page 1 it says (upper left hand corner) Highway 1 Big Sur Summer. I don't know if that is near Carmel or Monterey.

clearly the car's owner wasn't there for the "sitting on the windshield frame" shot.

 

Funny, the wife just got that catalog the other day and I noticed the chick on the windshield first. I then thumbed through and found one or two more 993 pics. I of course made sure the wife saw that "my car is so cool they are using it fashion magazines now."

Her reply was "yeah,...whatever, but I am looking forward to August." (headed up to Carmel for the Monterey Historics)

 

Well, I don't shop there, but I might have to start....

 

Why are you guys looking at a Chico's catalog (Adrienne excluded ofcourse)? Is this going to head down the road like that one episode of Seinfeld where George got busted looking at of all things a Glamour Magazine?

 

I was thinking after I posted that I shouldn't have. If I say I mistook it for a Victorias Secret, can I have my man card back? It would only be worse if I tried to explain the truth.

Moral of the story- never lend / rent your car out for a photo or film shoot. It's almost impossible for it to come back in the condition in which you lent it.
