Default What does this part do?

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know what does #11 in the attached parts diagram does? How important is it? Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, it attaches to the transmission bellhousing and sucks crap out of the clutch area.

Paul is spot on. But do you not have a description in your PET?

I would keep this tube. Others say not.

Thanks guys. The description is "hose" in the PET. I was just on the underside of my car and that piece is very brittle, just wondering if it needed immediate fix. I guess I will hold off for now.

When you change your clutch and flywheel to LWF is good enough. Accumulation of crap in the housing should accelerate the clutch failure.
