I probably couldn't get away until late May/early June-long weekend including the drive. Let's stay in touch and see if that works for you guys.

Chuck:

I was going to get a BBQ together at my house toward the end of May and have it be a Porsche BBQ so to speak. I will be in touch. You and Brendan are more than welcome. Feel free to bring others we will have a great time.

Al
Shoot me a PM with your housing criteria and price range and I can give you a rundown of the market on the east side of town. I am a builder and know it quite well.

Doug:

Are you doing anything in Norton's Commons? We are really looking over there.

I have not jumped into Norton Commons yet. There is a lot more bang for the buck elsewhere. I can't see spending what they are asking for the tiny lots although the concept is pretty cool. I am currently building in lake Forest and Locust Creek.

Sounds good to me. I'll pass word to some of the local folks and maybe try for a small group drive.
Thanks!

I'm just throwing it out there... Not saying anything needs to come of it... I've heard they aren't too bad... If I remember correctly, there is a small establishment in Memphis well known for its dry rub ribs. I think the name is RENDEZVOUS. Maybe a regional comparison of BBQ could be arranged at said get together. Again, just a thought... I'd be willing to pony-up some money for the cause.

Dang... wish I knew all of these Louisville folks when I bought my 993 and drove her home from there! Would love to meet Mike in person.

On to the thread hi-jack... if you do a BBQ run/taste test, you gotta hit Little Rock and the Whole Hog Cafe.. best BBQ I've ever had.

I have a direct connection to the Rendezvous. Pretty good ribs.

We may have to do a battle of the ribs BBQ here in the Ville. I'll keep you abreast.

Phil, props for Saturday's shin-dig. Great meeting your friends & fellow Rennlisters.
New KY RL tradition? I'll have to help out more with future recurrences; or I can just keep bringing alcohol - my best culinary skill!
Here's to next year

Did you get the house? Get moved in so we can get a Porsche BBQ together.
