I won't be able to make it as I'm driving the 9 to my parents' in NC and surprising my father with a quick jaunt to an air show at Cherry Point NAS.

I would love to come up for the drive, but would prefer all the Rennlist brethren to be there. I am going to get up there because you guys have a Fall run as well. The car will most surely be done by than. When I get the car done I'll get with you guys and we can get something together. I will need a road trip after all this work.

Actually I spent 3 days in Vancouver. I have to tell you that was one of the nicest cities I have ever visited. We spent a lot of time in Stanley Park. I also (same trip) spent a few days in Whistler. We went in Summer and it was great. I will have to hand it to our friends in the North. Your country (Vancouver, BC is all I can speak of) is the most clean pristine place to visit. I was also in Vancouver when we cruised to Alaska. That would be a great drive as my brother lives in Seattle. HMMMMMMMM.

Guess we've been awfully lucky all these years with great weather... except for this year. If it's raining, I won't be there.
If it looks like it's just about to rain, I probably won't be there either but we could always do a make up day very near in the future.

wow - what strange weather - still forcast for rain, many events up in the air that might cancel. If its raining early, I probably will not make it. Might be good to schedule a make up day, just in case - thoughts?
