Great subject. Problem is I don't have any pics on the computer!!!!
Before the 95 993 I bought in March 2006, I had a 2003 S2000, before that a 2002 Mini Cooper S with the JCW kit. The ones before that don't really matter.
To this day, I really like the S2000. A very focused, hard-eged sportscar. To those who didn't know it was just Honda's version of a Miata. Not a chance!!! Fantastic engine (I had the 2.0L, original spec) that absolutely thrived on revs. The way it kicked above 6000RPM and the sound were awesome. The handling was generally great but could bite you if you weren't careful. The 993 is far more friendly in the handling department. The only drawback to this car was the extremely tight cockpit. Very little storage and if you're over six feet you'll feel very cramped. Might just have to pick one up again, I really miss it.
The Mini? Great chassis. Not so great engine, even with the JCW kit. Long gearing was probably a contributing factor. Relatively poor fuel economy as well. The later cars had different gearing but I never had a chance to try them. Fun overall and I enjoyed owning the car when it was still "new" to the market.

My S2000 was a 2000 and I loved that it was the 9K redline one also. I made fun of people who bought the 04+ lol.
Handling = Great
Fun Factor= Great
comfort = Great
Power/Torque= Dissapointing.

Hung up my helmet; 'nuf said. The only RS's I'll ever own.
And my wife had this one, which was a fine touring car:
And we had a couple of MGs, a Midget and a B.

Last one that left before the Porsches came was the '95 Cobra R. 1 of 250 (351 Windsor) Fuelsafe cell, STEEDA full race suspension, fire bottle, Cobra Imola seats, roll cage, etc. Nice car but still old school, solid rear axle. Made nice sounds, tho.

Interesting topic. Wish I had pictures.
My car affection began with a 1982 Fiat Sypder 2000. Gorgeous, fun little car that leaked a quart and a half of oil for every fill up. One night, I was driving back from the beach. Ahead of me was a girl in a 911 cab. She looked great with her blond hair blowing in the wind. I didn't have a plan, but I figured I would dazzle her with the Fiat and she would follow me home or something. Don't know what I was going to do, but never got that far. Just as I was coming along side of her the engine blew. I rebuilt the engine at 30k and sold it. I've regretted it ever since, even if the thing was a POS.
After that I bought a 1985 Saab Turbo. Last car I bought new. I hated that one. Couldn't stand the front wheel drive, and the Turbo would shoot you into the rev limited while you struggled to get it into the next gear. No boost, BOOST, rev limiter, no boost, BOOST... I hated that thing and couldn't get rid of it fast enough.
Next was a 1986 Porsche 911 cab, blk, with an army green interior. Loved it but I didn't have a garage for it. Only sold it when the roof leaked so much that the wood under the pedals rotted and the think stank like the inside of a men's locker room--and the 993 was available....
1997 I bought the 993 C4S. I remember seeing the first 993 (blk/blk) at the new model unveiling at the Porsche dealership. My heart ached for it. I finally couldn't stand it any more and ponied up what was to me unbelievable big bucks. 12 years and 60k miles later, its been the perfect car.

Great subject for a thread!
Other than Hondas and F150s my first car was this 1965 yellow Mustang Conv. I purchased in August of 1964. I kept it until 2005 and put 87k miles on it. It's now in a car collection in Denver. Purchased the 1987 Carrera in Oct. 2006 and the 1995 993 in Feb. of 2008. The 87 is back in Virginia and being well cared for by the new owner.
