Default Not good, clutch slipping, LWF here I come!

Driving around today in my 993 I noticed that I was experiencing some periodic slipping of the clutch. Seemed to be the onset of what I experienced in a BMW 540i Sport last year that deteriorated rapidly after the same symptoms. My 993 has just under 53k mi (540i had 110k mi). Is this normal at such a low mileage? Regardless, it's a great excuse to do a LWF. I plan on doing the job myself. Been studying Toga's engine removal post all evening. Thanks to him I have the confidence to do it.

I'll probably be asking questions as I go through with the procedure. If anybody has any tips in addition to Toga's, let me know. I'll take all the advice I can get.

Thanks,
Mike

Good luck with the DIY Mike,
Waiting for my clutch to fry so I can put in the LWF, but I approach with trepidation after the horror stories I hear about 95s....

You do not need to pull the motor to change the clutch unless you plan to do some other work on the motor. When we install an LWF setup by just pulling the tranny makes it about a 3-4 hour job instead of 8 hours for engine removal and reinstall.
