got an oppertunity to puchase a set of PSS9 coil overs for my 95 993 C2. the part # I was given for them is slightly different from any number I can find from bistien. wonding if someone can ID them with a pic cause I obviously don't want something that wont fit. number they gave me was that i can't confirm is-

D268 is the PSS10. The PSS9 was 8044.

do the PSS9's not have the dark blue/black dial at the bottom for adjustability like the PSS10's? looks like a small valve you turn on the back of the struck where it bolts to the knuckle? trying to figure out if these are really what they're suppose to be? anyone seen any phony after aftermarket copies or knock offs? thanks again

The PSS10 has a large blue/black ****. The PSS9 had a kind of bronzish small **** where it was almost impossible to read the settings. On the front, the PSS9 **** was covered with a blue rubber sleeve (meant to keep the **** from falling off if it loosened up). No phony products on the market, but lots of shady characters....

Are those the ones from Indonesia? If so it would be a tough call to bid on that. The seller has no history.

yep. that scared me, hate to send my money that far for not much guarantee. don't have much faith in being back by ebay if it goes south, been there before. and I don't know about that part number, I asked the seller to double check it but he never responded.

Be Afraid... When they can not even get the number straight on the box (which is not the box for the PSS10 BTW).

so did you win them matt? i was going to bid but was hesitant and waited too long to build up the nerve. if you got 'em, let me know if you like 'em once you get them isntalled. as long as they fit, i don't see how you wouldn't love em for the price.
