Marc-- More you & others may like. The owner agreed to let me share 'em here

...& that was before me telling him I dig his choice of mods.

But I'm a bit biased:

When you wrote & vaguely hinted about a profile piece in that book ^^ I was guessing it was on a 993 Speedster owner

^^ That incredible, rare, & significant wide-body beauty deserves a similarly upbeat follow-on.

Nonetheless, this update may be of interest:
Months ago, a RLer mentioned to me that the narrow-body New York Speedster sold.

2013 sale photo (note rear valance violence from scraping):

2011 photo while parked in the Hamptons (notice similar valance injury back then):

I'd expect nothing less from you, Marc
Can't wait for your updates on the work he's done

In the meantime - another 2013 photo of it, from your side of the ocean:

Good eye, Marc! I LUV your enthusiasm for 993 Speedsters. You & I share that passion, no doubt
I also posted this for those who dig the narrow-body look of like Butzi's Speedster.

Enjoy more pics here, & check for a related PM.

What's about that car?

Gemballa Speedster for sale in Philadelphia

The owner explains, that it is one of the three Gemballa ever built. That information is true, two of them are located in Germany, the third one ist placed in the United States. But at the last pictures the car looked different. Has anyone a idea, if it is the same car?

Is this actually a 993? Spacing of the rear wheels looks way off, like some kind of conversion.
