FYI Redline oil is primarily ester based, not PAO like Amsoil. I too use Redline in the race cars and it has given me the best overall results in both cars in race conditions. I would also say that M1 is not likely to be a Group III oil...There was some rumors that after Katrina they switched some batches to G III because a plant was damaged by the hurricane or something but I didn't really pay much attention...AFAIK Mobil 1 is PAO based.
