Default Irritatingly Fast Blinking Turn Signals

I was driving around town yesterday and noticed that my turn signals were blinking at an almost strobe like beat. I'd hate to be a cause for a siezure and have someone rear end my car. Is this a sign that the relay is about to go?

A bulb is probably blown.

Most cars do this to let you know that you have a bulb out.

What they said.

Another thought: If you changed your bulb to LEDs the resisters may be loose.

I didn't spend much time diagnosing the problem but it seems like all of the bulbs were lighting properly. It's really puzzling, still blinking rapidly...

Bad contact in a light bulb socket.

Take out every turn signal bulb, clean the socket, reinstall, report. I would bet on one of the rears being the culprit.

If mikes method doesn't work, I'd replace the relay.

Hmm, is it hard to find? Labeled odd? Doesn't exist? I've never looked.
