Default Help Identifying Rotor

Need some help here. I paid for OEM rear rotors and these are what showed up. Pretty sure they are front rotors and not OEM? They say "Made in Germany" and 30mm on the side. Are these Zimmermans?

Thanks for the help.

They look like zimmermans, porsche factory rotors usually have the hat painted light grey. Zimmermans are usually un painted.

They are also fronts not rears.

They appear to be 993 front, they should measure 304x32mm

Thanks Steven, that's what I thought just needed a confirmation. The company I bought these from seems to have folded in the last few weeks. www.dps-motorsports.com

Maybe they created a front company to sell a pair of front zimmerman rotors to someone that ordered rear OEM rotors. Oh well.

Just measured and that's what I came up with, thanks again Bill. It's amazing how many questions you have answered for me over the years.

I did a "buy it now" for some items a while back from that same company on ebay, they never followed up if it was available or not. Luckily, I didn't paypal them the money right away.

daltvater:

I just bought all new rotors from ViperBob and they were factory rotors. One thing I noticed on mine were the front rotors had a blue stamp on the face of the rotor that designated R (Right) and L (Left). I did not see that in your pic. This may help. Of course Bill V. may have given you the answer you were looking for.

It's a shame, I've done business in the past with DPS. No issues, good service.
