Hi

I think I might shortly be acquiring a pair of hard-shell 993 RS seats. Does anyone have any idea of a ball-park sort of figure that these might be worth, especially in the UK, assuming they are in excellent condition? It will help me decide how much I'm willing to pay for the car.

Porsche RS seats don't come to the market that often.

You can always buy the Recaro pole positions.

Essentially the same seat.

depends if you want cloth or tri colour leather as in 964/93 RS.....2nd hand often see the cloth nomex at £1000+ and the leather version nearer £1500,,,as stated Recaro PP are close, (different seatback moulding, shoulders etc).....genuine RS seats are getting harder to come by maybe a few sets a year at most seem to come up for sale..good luck in your search.

 

Ok, I just checked a reference picture of the car John is looking at.

The seats in question is a normal hardback 993 sportseat (with back painted red to match exterior). I thought initially as per this first post that they were the reclinable hardback sport seats without power as mounted originally in the 993RS comfort version (with grey center section insert). They are neither these nor Recaro RS racing shells as indicated by canysmc and clubsport.

Just "regular" albeit very nice hardback sportseats. Just wanted to make it clear to the OP.
