It also helped out the Mexico house purchase so it was a no brainer...
I did not get that kind of money for the car... but fairly close.

I agree with Viggo.
225k usd for a 993 RS is wildly speculative. Where I live you could buy one for 40% of that price.
At the moment thereare alot of "fishing expeditions". This market will collapse at some point like housing, shares and fiance - its not a matter of if its a matter of when.
Having bought and sold a couple RSs. Have always made a good return and had alot of fun - but everything like this has a cycle.
Joe. If you want to unload 200k usd on a 993GT2 let me know. I know of one low mileage one that would sell for that.....

I think the current seller has listed the car a couple of times since Joe's ownership. It's been discussed here before. Although probably too high in this market, Joe has a point. The car is US LEGAL and ready to go. I'm guessing the cost to jump through all the hurdles to make that happen was fairly costly.
