Default Becker Traffic Pro Help

Does anyone have a clue where to buy this "Becker Remote Kit" for a Traffic Pro 7943? [urlhttp://www.soundlabsgroup.com.au/p/Becker-iPod-Interface/Becker+iPod+Interface+Kit[/url]

I bought the Becker TP last year and want to install it for the OEM look. BUT, I want iPhone, iPod and Bluetooth, which this kit offers. I'd buy the kit from abroad but the 7943 isn't specifically listed as compatible.

I did search the forum but cannot locate info on this kit. I believe that I saw it here recently but can't locate the bookmark, either.

Thanks for any help.

Never going to happen. They just don't make it for our TP's.

You can fit a aftermarket BT kit to it, but you will have to wire it up your self. You can get a iPod cable, but the unit will not operate it. It has to be done @ the iPod, but it will charge.

Yup. That's my take on it too. This is probably one of the reasons the TP is discontinued. I'm still a fan of the TP though - looks stock and works great as long as you're willing to forgo the fully integrated iPod link
