Nice car....checked it out when I was there on Valentines Day weekend. I just bought my 05 997 S from Coventry MotorCar. Did you get a chance to meet with Brian (owner) ? Great guy and an avid enthusiast. Known him for years thru a good friend. Spent the weekend in CT and checked out his personal collection. V10M5, GT2, RS6, 500E, RRover Super Sport, etc.

Kevin (guy in your pic) is a trip huh ?

And congrats on the 997...

Right, Jimmy is the Mercedes buff...owning a 500E as well and just got a 996 Cab from Brian.

Glad you're happy with C43. It's a great car and very rare ! Good Luck with it. Have to ask, how did you find it up in Coventry ??

Small world that keeps getting smaller for sure.

I had been looking all over the net in the usual places, investigated quite a few, and this one popped up on Saturday, on Autotrader - think was Valentines weekend. The ad had just been placed and I shot off an email to them immediately , while doing the background checking into it. I didn't mention it to anyone on the MB forum, as I wanted to have first pickings at it. Couple days later Jimmy puts out a post, http://www.mbworld.org/forums/c36-am...c43-w-71k.html , at that point I knew I had to move fast. Brian at the same time emailed me Jimmy's number; I called and spoke with him several times about car, etc.., and even ur old car and his new car.

Got it. It's amazing how a simple post can turn into a sale and reaches out to so many people who know one another.

I briefly posted about thinking of selling my 4S. Got an inquiry from SWMIC (Shawn) in Philly and it was sold. Called Brian and Jimmy telling them what I wanted and within two hours they found exactly what I was looking for. The deal was done in a matter of minutes.

Good Blokes they are. I'd encourage anyone to check in with them if you're looking for German Hardware.

Very nice find. My next door neighbor had one for a couple of years and just recently, last year upgraded to an E63 black on black. I was blown away by the power of his new one, but the old one was awesome too.

Congrats.

lol..that same night after your post thinking of selling, I came home and showed wifey pics of your car. She was like buy it (kinda told her price point that it may sell at); now if u had put a FS ad, I would had to convince myself that I don't need another.

They're good guys and would get my business again. Infact anybody looking for a Pastel 4 door 97 BMW M3 automatic (rare car) or an Orange Bettle, two mint condition chick cars - give a Kevin a call. You won't find them (cars..lol) on their website, as they've just got them in.

Default So I got it lowered...

My 993 mod money is going elsewhere...

Haven't actually seen the car yet, but these r some pics my wrench sent me tonight.

Stock..

I think I'll either raise the rear or lower the front a tad.
