Hmmmm,

Interestingly , when I tried to forward an order to parc.de , I had a notice flash up to say that my order was not secure and not to procede .. Anyone know anything about this?? .. I'm sorry , I'm not very computer competant.

Hey Shamrock,

I ordered a load of posters from parc.de a while back and had no issues.

You can always email them and then arrange to fax them.

But the quality of what I got was great. I can post pics later if you like.

I picked up this one

I am "allowed" to hang it in the living room, if I get a nice frame on it.
Little did I know this was a ploy, 2 shops gave me quotes of over $400 to get it framed (it's big)!!!

Thanks for the answer on parc .. I went a bit mad last night (must have been the beer) and put €250 worth of posters in my 'cart' .. I haven't gone thru with my purchase yet but the cart is still there.

I think I'll order one piece first ...

I went to check it out. It appears the certificate that verifies that www.parc.de is who they say they are has expired (it expired 2/21/2008). I would imagine they will be updating their certificate shortly (I would hope since it's only a few hundred dollars). The certificate is from a valid company, Thawte. Your traffic with the site will still be encrypted, but the certificate is invalid.

Its up to you if you want to proceed. Personally I'd give parc.de a call and ask them about it; who knows perhaps they forgot about the expiration date

Thanks N,

I've spoken with them over the phone and by e mail , seemingly they've just acquired this website , and haven't renewed the cert because they're about to re-launch.
Seems reasonable , especially since they're going to do business with me by e- mail and paypal, so I'm going to go ahead with the purchases.
I'll let you all know if I run into problems.
Thanks again all for your help.

Shamrock,
I hope all goes well. I would hate it if my suggestion leads to problems.

Congratulations on your garage, Barney. You've inspired me to get going on my addition. Now that the economy has cooled, even in Alberta, it's possible to get contractors again.

So what's next, a hangar for the Extra 300 L?

This is one I have framed in my garage. I really like the fans in the background.
