Race Car
I've been thinking of doing this on mine as they are yellowing and they contrast a lot from the Carrera white paint on the bumper.
Since the car is white, I'm debating on painting them silver to match the headlights or white to match the bumper. Thoughts? Has anyone done them in white?

Cool. Thanks. I think I'll do them in white first and see how they look. I can always paint them silver later on top of the white if they start to yellow again.

Guy looks like a reputable ebay seller, too.

I repainted mine a couple years ago, but used the old, original glass. These lenses will make them like new again.

Drifting
When my car front end clear bra was applied 3 years ago, I had them apply film protection on my relatively new headlight lenses and fog lights. Not sure if this will help the ageing process, but so far they still look new.

Just a small update to this thread - I did mine last week, and they came out great!
Just a small note on disassembly - many struggle with this step since the factory used gorilla snot to seal the glass in the plastic housings.
I used a heat gun (with gloves) to heat the glass. My original plan was to soften the adhesive, but the lens quickly shattered with the heat applied. Couple of whacks with a ball hammer and then pulling the shards out with pliers was a lot easier than trying to get the lens out intact. No plastic damaged in the process either. They look brand new - even better, in fact, with no ugly off-white background.
Cheers
