Have to let my 993 Targa go
Due to current financial situation, I have to part with my 993 Targa. Hopefully another rennlist member can take advantage of the fire sale price.
-----------------
1996 Porsche 911 Targa. 3.6 liter air-cooled flat-6 with varioram, 6-speed manual, midnight blue metallic exterior, dark gray interior, and 2-piece Porsche Speedline wheels. 74,500 original miles. Tremendous amount of money and effort spent to keep this one driving and looking like new. Aside from the standard specifications:
- Have complete service and repair documentation from 1st day of purchase by original owner; all records will be passed to buyer. All maintenance / repairs performed at Callas Rennsport since I became owner 3 years ago (Tony Callas was the crew chief for the Porsche GT1 team at Le Mans). Just completed latest 15K mi service. Everything works as they should. Strong motor and buttery shifting.
- Vehicle is in excellent cosmetic condition as well. Never involved in any collision. No dings on body panels. The front bumper, hood, fenders, and doors were recently re-painted and the front windshield / gasket were replaced for cosmetic reasons (paint and rock chips). Prospective buyers can contact Tony Callas for reference.
- Vehicle is lightly modified with Euro Porsche M030 springs, stabilizer bars, drop links, Bilstein HD shocks (4 wheel alignment and corner balancing performed), Gert Carnewal front protection bar, and RSR exhaust (Porsche OEM exhaust modified by Robin Sun, a well known member on Rennlist.) Alpine CD player with MB Quart speakers, Phoenix Gold amplifier, and K40 front/rear radar as well.
- The Targa glass top was rebuilt extensively and well maintained. Water and air tight. Both the glass and shade slide effortlessly. No whistling sound while driving at any speed.
- All four tires (Pirelli P Zero Rossi) were recently replaced and there is plenty of tread left.
- Manual, service booklet, unused inflatable spare tire, and two keys with remote.
- Ready for your PPI or you can contact Tony Callas of Callas Rennsport for reference. Happy to show you the car in person. Please email me for scans at YJFANG AT YAHOO DOT COM. Asking $30,999 OBO.
Thanks, Joe

Sounds like a great car. I love that color combo, wish I could swing it right now. Best of luck and hope it goes to a RL'er. Sorry to hear about the situation.
